As someone who deeply cares about my community, state, and country; my goal is to represent you and your families.
I want you to know that I ran for the Minnesota Senate District 7 to offer my support and dedication to the people in our district and not for my own ambitions.
As a Senator Candidate I vowed to stand my ground and not back down on the issues that are important to the people of Minnesota. I would not compromise or be silent.
I stand with you, I stand for truth, and I stand for this country.
My upbringing was deeply rooted in the importance of faith, freedom, and personal liberty. My Grandfather was a cattle rancher, entrepreneur, and leader in his community. He instilled in me a strong work ethic, and the inherent duty that all citizens of this great nation have to our families, our communities, and each other.
I am also inspired by my 7th Great Grandfather Carter Braxton, who was one of the Founding Fathers, a member of the Continental Congress, and a Signer of the Declaration of Independence. It is because of people like him, that we are afforded the freedoms that we have today. I, too, feel a responsibility to this country and to the efforts of our founding fathers as well as everyone who has built this country.
I served my country by joining the Army and have a firm understanding of the issues that our veterans and military members face. As someone who served in the U.S. Army and as a firefighter and medic, I stand behind all of our public servants, including our active military, veterans, fire and EMS, health care professions, and all of those who kept our state running when the governor decided to do the unconstitutional lock downs that hurt so many people and businesses.
For the past seven years, I have lived outside of a small, rural community in Aitkin county with my wife and three children. My wife is a Nurse at a hospital in our community, and I serve my community as Township Supervisor. I have a long history of operating a small business and understand the relationship between small business and community growth and opportunity.
